APIDEA Frames (Blue), Packs of 5 or 7
Price range: £7.50 through £10.50
Spare plastic frames for the APIDEA mating hive and brood chamber super. Supplied unassembled, with no wax starter strips. Pack of five (one brood super) or pack of seven (a brood super plus the two frames that replace the in-hive feeder).
Description
Spare top bar frames for the APIDEA mating hive and brood chamber super, in blue to match. They come flat, unassembled, and the plastic parts simply push together. No wax or foundation is included, so you fit your own starter strip along the top bar before they go in. A thin strip of foundation, or a bead of melted beeswax run along the groove, is all the bees need to build straight comb. The top bar has a cutout that takes a roller cage. Handy for replacing old comb, or for making up an extra super.
Pack sizes: five frames is one brood chamber super’s worth. Seven frames covers a brood chamber super plus the two frames that go in when you lift the in-hive feeder out of the mating hive. Made in Switzerland by Apidea AG. Unassembled, no wax strips.
